I used macro lens to shoot a serie of big scale foods photos, which make a small insects vision effect.
Old books and new books have different smell. Some people think old books smell so good. And books in different genres have different smell since the ink and paper texture.
I asked my friend to smell two different books with eyes covered. He can distinguish which one is older.
Mosquitoes’s mouthparts are sharp and long to suck human’s blood. So I prepared long strews and cups of red color juice which covered by food wrap to simulate mosquitoes.
I asked guys pierce the wrap and suck the juice through the long strew.
“The aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis) is a lemur, a strepsirrhine primate native to Madagascar that combines rodent-like teeth that perpetually grow and a special thin middle finger.”
“It is the world’s largest nocturnal primate, and is characterized by its unusual method of finding food: it taps on trees to find grubs, then gnaws holes in the wood using its forward slanting incisors to create a small hole in which it inserts its narrow middle finger to pull the grubs out.”
For the touch experiment, I plan to make a equipment that simulate aye-aye’s method to finding food.
For the sound thought experiment, I plan to make an audio that includes some different noisy insects(mosquitoes, flies, bees, etc.), and play it on four corner stereos. People stand in the middle of stereos with their eyes close. They will show different reaction when they hear it.
